Feels Best Dentistry has serviced Oakland and Wayne counties for ten years focused on preventive care and cosmetic services. We offer Invisalign treatment, periodontal treatment, root canals, composite (white) fillings, extractions, porcelain crowns and implant restorations. Feels Best Dentistry is located in Huntington Woods and is accepting new patients and emergencies. Most insurance plans are accepted and financing is available through Care Credit.
Dr. Nicole Fields
Dr. Nicole Fields is a native of Detroit and graduate of Renaissance High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia and then entered the University of Michigan Dental school in 1989. After having associated in the Detroit area for five years she opened her own practice in 1998.
Dr. Fields aspired to be a dentist since high school and enjoys treating patients of all ages to help improve their smiles and confidence. Her greatest joy she says, is treating pediatric patients and teaching them about oral hygiene and eliminating their dental fear early. She is a member of the Wolverine Dental Society, Michigan Dental Association and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Dr. Deirdre Young
Dr. Deirdre Young earned her DDS at University of Michigan. She received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Allied Health from Howard University. Dr. Young joins the Feels Best Dentistry Staff from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. At UDM, Dr. Young has taught in the Simulation Lab, DS3 Clinic, DS4 Clinic, and provided lectures in cultural competency in the pre-doctoral curriculum.
As Director of Multicultural Affairs, she created a pipeline program entitled, "Dental Imprint", with local middle and high schools. Dr. Young serves as a faculty advisor at UDM for the Pre-Dentistry Student Association, Student National Dental Association/Student National Dental Hygienists' Association, and 7 year BS/DDS program-3rd Cohort. She also serves as an advisor with the Dental Student Advising Program.
